Chapter 1
Beyond the “Gross Bucket”
Before we built the Foot Fountain, we tried the old-school solutions. We tried the plastic tubs and buckets of water by the door, but it didn’t take long to realize how flawed that was. After the first person steps in, the water is murky; by the third person, you’re basically just stepping into a bucket of mud.
Worse yet, if you head out for a week and forget to dump it, you’ll return to find a “new life form” growing in there. We wanted a solution that was sanitary and maintenance-free. The Foot Fountain provides a fresh, clean rinse every single time with a 30-second auto-shutoff, so there’s no standing water and nothing to scrub out.
